Disc guards
V8MoneyPit:
I found they were forever picking up stones and they are pain to get out. I now leave them off.
muddysteve:
mine went straight into the recycling bin
clbarclay:
I binned the front shields on mine a while ago when I rebuilt the axle and had no trouble MOT wise without them. Just rebuilt the rear axle and finaly binned the rears shields. On one of the other RRC at home still fitted with sheilds one rear brake discs is in a horendus state of wear, most likely due to trapped mud.
Both of those RRC were "off roaders" and saw a lot of mud. In comparison though the other RRC at home is unlikely to see any deep mud, so its sheilds will stay on and probably get replaced if they rust through.
TDi90:
binned both.
Rasbo:
never had them, and never wished i had them, just something else to get broken
