Disc guards

Disco 90 george:
Doing a axle change on the back in a couple of weeks time and was looking at the disc guards. Do i need to keep them on or can i put them in the bin.

I wanted to find out what everyone else has done.

Tommo:
i gave mine to the scrap man. kept the front ones though.

Disco-Ron:
Binned all mine... it not only keeps the crap out, but they hold the crap inaswell!!

Range Rover Blues:
I binned my front ones as they were rusty, kep the back for now.

I'm told you will get more pad wear due to the dust, you'll also suffer more oil contamination (more relevant on the front) and possibly worse corrosion, but if you keep your truck washed then I reckon it's better for an off-roader to bin them.

They are looking well bent anyway. In the bin they go !
