all lights have gone
« on: April 01, 2008, 16:23:28 »
hi everyone, i fitted new side lights all over and new main beams the other day on my 200tdi 90, it started with one bulb not working, i checked it, the bulb is fine, now i have no lights all round apart from the indicators and one of the side indicators has gone all ready so im starting to worry there going to go to soon, i dont know if its an earth problem but would it cause slow reactions, or would they all go instantly, any help is appreciated im very lost and all i can think is the switch on the steering column because of the importance but im still not sure, thanks

Have you checked fuses as that is more likely to explain an individual loss the the switch as wiring is usually split after at the fuse box (between switch and bulb) (behind plastic cowl in front of the gearbox)
