Genuine parts rubber bushes or some one elses? I fitted some new rubber body mount bushes less than a year to a RRC, too the body off a month ago to find one was completely shot and a number of the others didn't look to pretty either. Next time I will be specifying genuine LR rubber bushes.

Welding in a new length of tube should be as effective a repair as any for the chassis mount.

For such a cheap item it is probably worth buying OE against pattern as they should last for many years and/or many 10's of thousands of miles in normal use. I fitted OE ones to my 90 a few years ago and they are still nice & firm with no sign of wear.
