Easy answer.

Remove the 5-bolts that hold the drive-flange in place and pull the halfshaft, should take just a few minutes and gives you the definitive answer.
If you don't have a new paper gasket to hand then you will have to use a thin smear of instant gasket to avoid a leak.


It is possible to have 24-spline 2-piece halfshafts in a Disco axle because that is what I have on my 90.
Ok, I did cheat a little by using the original 24-spline diff & halfshafts from my drum-braked axle instead of the 10-spline items that were in the Disco axle but it just shoes how you should never guess and instead have a look to establish the definate answer.

While you're all on the subject, would anyone know how many splines the shafts have on a 2003 TD5 110 SW, non-salisbury? Looking to order some ARB's for it but I'm in a different country to my vehicle at the moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

200 TDi should be 10 spline.
