Help with 0+ baby seat
« on: March 19, 2008, 10:31:52 »
Hello,

I am a bit stuck re choice on a 0+ baby seat for my 2006 freelander se.

We want one that fits to a base so we dont have to fiddle wiht the belts etc each time we take the little mite in and out the car.  I know that its not ISOFix but I like the look on the bases that use the belts to hold them in and the seat clips to the base. We tried a maxi cosy at John Lewis and thier fitting person said that the seatbelt buckles were "too high" ???? and didnt hold it securley.  Maxi cosy say its ok though?

Can anyone recomend a seat/base combo that they have used and had assurance that its correctly fitted?

I know the recarro fits without a base and also that the freelander seatbelts are very short so even thats a struggle.

Thanks.

Both our girls had Graco from birth to the booster seats they are in now, no probs with them.
