Hi guys,
Anyone ordered from them recently ?
I have ordered and paid for a set for my range rover (Â£205) last monday (3rd march).I've had no e-mail from them and i've tried to phone them today (10th) and it just goes to an answer phone.
Im a bit worried now :(

there has been a few people on here tried to get hold off them over the last month and not succesfull, where are they advertising to order from?

Completed the order form. Paid Â£14 for 48 hr delivery :roll: paid by paypal.
One week later no response.
I've noticed that scorpian racing look like they are selling them now so i presume they still exist.

I've gopt a set of mike at roccia (chuggaman) on here. he has been in and out of hospital receently, so unsure if its because of that, lets just say it was a slip of the the surgens scalple :S yes you heard right, i knwo he survived that so unsure what has happened recently. He his a really nice guy and good for his word. I like you had alot of trouble with receiviong the arches but that was due to him being in hospital. i think i waited about a month or so. Yes the arches that scorpion sell are his and if you ring them and as about mike at roccia all they will say is that they never get in touch they buy batchs off him and they arrive in dribs and drabs.

i'm pretty sure your safe but i know its annoying!

Juat lay them flat in 2 columns (ideally you want 2 spare tyres) and lay a strong thick sheet of glass on top of them and voila you have a trendy modern table to be proud of.

Mike's a decent bloke, he's not out to dissapear with your money so don't panic. There is a good reason he's not about, damned shame. Bear with him though as I think the arches are worth the wait.

thats the same ones i think.Rangerover Competition Flares,HDPE smooth.
Did you screw yours on ? I was thinking of pop riveting mine on to stop anyone stealing them.

yeah i screwed mine on, my thinking in that is... if i'm off road and get too close to something then the arches would rip the scress out instead of ripping the arches themselfs where they where bolted or riveting on. also, i think riveting them on will pull them too tight against the wing / door and make them missform and it'll be very difficult to get them to look right.

nearly 3 weeks now (on monday).Still not heard anything.I'm going to try and phone again,failing that im going to have to contact paypal and get my money back.
Shame as i prefer these to the paddocks ones,but i need the tyres out of the kitchen,they really smell !

TBH I'd use rivets over self tappers any day, even if you want them to tear out then use rivets, they are ali so softer, plus they look neater.

The roccia ones look really good,i want those really,but for whatever reasons Roccia have, i cant.

if you can wait a while (year or so) then i'll be breaking her to build my 90 so wont need them.... but i'm guessin that'll be too far away.

I used screws on the arches as rivets pull the plastic archer to hard to the body and miss forms the arches....

Got the arches from paddocks.Looks good but it does catch a little on the rear at the top.Do you guys think i should fit extended bump stops ??
I know i should already have them because of the suspension lift.
Another problem im having is i've snapped 2 halfshafts in 1 week !! Front one first.

Where abouts on the arches are the tyres catching? from what I've gathered you can trim the bottom/inside out of those particular plastic arches to get some more space (and flexibility).

There are too many variables for a suspension "lift" to automatically require raised bumpstops, though as a way of increasing clearance for tyres they should work reasonably well. Again it will depend on the rest of your suspension as to how effective they will be.

The price you pay for having phat tyres

or is it just the RRC way of saying you need difflocks and uprated shafts :-k
I've already started stockpiling half shafts and diffs for when mine goes back together.

they have cought only on the drivers side ,right at the top on the door shut inner arch.Its cought and bent it up and in over :shock:
I think i need to take a picture to explain better.

I've been looking for better halfshafts,ashcroft are the only i've found and are expensive :'(
