This country is FUBAR because of politicians IMHO

Agreed,he was a traffic officer testing the new car. I know ambulance and fire service do the same with their new kit.

Yes and no.
It is tools of the trade and he needs to know but just 'having a go' is not the way to do it. Had he put the Blues & Two's on things would have been different (hopefully); then everybody expects it rather than thinking it's another nutter on the road.

It should have been disciplinary rater than criminal though.

There are those that abuse their position. As mentioned before, everyone should be accountable. If a legitimate test run is being done, then so be it.

I dont know how old you are, but was that not because of the IRA threat??

What were you and how long were you sentenced to, I mean serve. [-X

not long, but long enough to see the horrors of the IRA. I was in the RAF.

What I meant to say was, You don’t hear people posting anti armed forces messages on this forum, and quiet rightly, The armed forces are doing a bloody marvellous job under crap conditions, but it seems so easy to come on line anonymously and slag off the police. I for one are fed up with it. If you have an issue with the police take it up with the police force in question, if you are not going to do that then button it.

I went on a course at Frimley in January and we were specifically told in our orders that under no circumstances was uniform to be worn off the camp, nor for traveling in!

Its all to easy for people to mouth of these days and just not follow it up with some hardend actions I.E doing something about it.... I for one can not speak highly enough of our local police... as some people had read SWMBO was followed home and the local plod couldnt do enough, even poping round today, some 2 weeks later just to check if things were O.K......they do a hard job!
