My mates Jimny floated quite well at Cowm Quarry last year

How does the jimny handle on the road / off road is the ride better the the leaf sprung SJ.
I am seriously thinkin about getting one in the future what is the diff clearance of a jimny on the larger wheels.
I have been told under neath they look almost the same as a land rover just a mini version of.
What speed can you cruise at on the road is it more then my top speed of 45mph Are the engines as bullet proof as the SJ they just seem to keep going.
Sorry about hi jacking the thread but just curious.
glaggs:
They are basically coiled SJ's with a more refined interior. You should be able to cruise at more than 45mph even with bigger tyres. The limit on modding is the body work. Its hard to get significantly larger tyres on the jimny. I have managed 31"'s on mine, but most people run 215-15's.

my old jimny?
it had 3" lift and trimed arches and 235/75/15 on weller wheels as well as quite a few other mods ;)
