Oil Leak
team:conquerthevoid:
Hey Guys,
We have an oil leak which is leaking fuel everywhere. Trouble is we can't identify what the issue is. We believe it is coming out of the right handside of the engine, just above and to the right (i.e back towards the car) of the oil temperature sensor, just below the manifold. Can anyone advise on what it might be thats leaking? It looks like a point at which something could be screwed in maybe!?
I'm going to add some in a bit so people can get a better look, rather than my dodgy description!
Cheers,
Pete.

hi pete
do you mean the drivers side of the engine towards the back of the engine behind the intake manifold?

Hi Simon,
Nope it's passenger side just below the exhaust manifold, i have a couple of pictures which i should be able to get up tonight, internet permitting. I had thought it was the drain plug for the oil but since it's on the same level as the temperature sensor for the oil it's obviously not low enough.
Cheers,
Pete

Hey guys,
Here's the pics of the point we believe is leaking. in the first you can see the oil filter and temperature sensor in the bottom corner. The second pic is a close up of the point in the centre of the first (if that makes sense!) can anyone identify what that point is and if it is infact likely to be the point leaking?
Thanks for your help on this guys. Much appreciated.

Looks like a core plug or the head gasket.
