 In all seriousness, that may well be a prime example of sods law. I could almost guarantee that when I stood in a queue in a chippy to get some scran, by the time I got to be served, a shout would come in. The alternative would be sitting at a 'Road Traffic Collision Cluster Site' providing a visible prescence to 'calm traffic', munching my sausage and chips, again a 999 call would come in.
I agree with Boggert, they may well have been on the way to a shout. It would have been worse if the driver had been sucking on a shake and scoffing a burger!

Not me matey! I eat ethically. No Kentucky Fried Cat for me! Although I do find my organic houmous gets stuck on my body armour.
