I used to live a half a mile away from it,no chance of getting a 4x4 any where near it  as BTM says theres a gate and a stile to climb over,I used to go up on my MTB when I was a kid and trust me,you need balls of steel to ride down it and a seriously low gear to ride up it,there is a cobbled bit on the steep bit and you just wouldnt get any traction at all,we used to send a lad down it on his MTB and unhook his back brake  without him knowing before he rode down,and then watch him fall off :lol:

I've ridden diagonally across sections of it & through the woods to either side, & it's a scary thought losing grip at either end

I believe I've got some pictures taken at the time on the site (90-92??). I'll see if I can find them, scan them & add them to the 'www'
