There is indeed a site that has all of this...

There is no short cut for market research ehh?

I wrote a letter to People at GLASS and was a little 'scratchy' in my opinion about then having a database that was not open to full public access. Jonathan Stuart wrote a friendly and helpful email back;

Thank you for your email. The information in our database is all available in the public domain - it is on Ordnance Survey maps as well as the County Council's definitive maps which are freely available to view in County Hall.

So membership to CLASS here we come for a more simple approach to route planning.

In my research I have found that there are some basic steps to take:

1 Buy the OS map
2 Look for routes
3 Check with wayfinder (have not yet found how their web site works)
4 Call the local RoW Office

I am planning to go to the Salisbury plain on Sat 8th March. Does anyone fancy going there ON two wheels are are you all IN four?

Nicholas

http://www.way-finder.co.uk/ works very well at RoW and is simple to work thought however the web site http://www.wayfinder.com/ is very hard to find rights of way on...!
