EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads
Evilgoat:
Audi has crossdrilled and vented discs, 4 pot porsche calipers with EBD Green pads. They dont last as long as the genuine Audi ones. But man can they stop the car  Sure if I just did the front it'd end up on its roof Tom and Gerry style.
I have heard the warping thing before in combination with solid discs.
Also had a caliper bind up at speed. The resultant heat melted all the paint, grease rubber in the caliper and boiled brake fluid off.
Range Rover Blues:
Has anybody used Red Stuff? I understand that they don't actually work untill they get hot, could be a problem :-k
Whilst thinking about warping disks, the easiest way and we all do it it to sit with your foot on the brakes when stationary having just heated them up on a long hill or braking from speed. The disk cools unevently and warps the disks.
lambert:
Had em on a hot subaru and even cold they bit hard but after 5 min of running in town it stopped so hard it upset sports bikes and literally scratched it's nose on the floor.
Range Rover Blues:
Wonder if they are availabel for the LSE :-k
I guess they will be expensive though as they're not very common.
Mark_Solesbury:
