EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads

<< < (3/4) > >>

baz2236:
I always use green stuff brakes in my cars but got told not to use red stuff pads in my veccy because it was'nt heavy enough and due to it having big vented disk they would never warm up enough to really work but i know people that do use them and love them as said you get better brakes then a bike.

Henry Webster:
I believe Yellow and Red Stuff are special orders for Land Rovers.  Even then they are not silly expensive, but I must say I haven't found the need.  We use Green Stuff on the racer and regularly have to brake hard from the wrong side of 70+ mph and have never had any fade (apart from when i didn't let them bed in properly before an event.)

We've never had any warping problems on stage despite dunking hot brakes in deep water on occasions.  We use EBC disks too!

Range Rover Blues:
I don't ghet brake fade, I'd just like the best brakes possible given that my LSE has a warp engine fitted.

Mark_Solesbury:
now they have bedded in, they are really good..

They might not last as long, but i like to know that they will stop when asked to!

How much balance is put to the back? They are still on monkey ones at the moment

Boddle:
EBC Green Pads and drilled and slotted fronts (difficult to get drilled and slotted rear for 2001 110) had no problems in the 2 years I've had them regularly go underwater as I do a fair bit of fording in water deep enough to cover my wheels neverlone my brake disks no notice any warp. :^o
