HELP!! Info on Rangie classic memory seats

Hi all, Can anyone help me I've just brought a 93 vogue SE I tried to store a setting and now the seats won't move is there anyway of resetting the seats?

Hi.  There is a self-test procedure on the seats, I don't remember the code off-hand though.

Did the seats move at all? a classic thing to have happen is the setas try to move a little then stop. Unfortunatley this indicates the seat ECU has bust.

Does the passenger seat work? it should.

Were you in it at the time? it could be as simple as a fuse, there are 4 and they are jnder the passenger's seat.

Oh, BTW, the seat will only self-move if the sriver's door is open with the ignition off, or you are in the seat and have the ignition on but the car in park.  Try different combinations, these are controlled by relays and again they can be tempremental.

If the ECU has gone expect to pay £150 for a S/H one.
