« on: January 23, 2008, 21:18:23 »
Does anyone have a set of 33" tyres on a zuki vitara or sj who lives anywhere near Bournemouth to Dorchester, if so could i bring my vit to you for us to swap wheels so i can see where they might rub, if they fit !!  Dont worry, im not going to drive off with them, we will swap back after i have tried them.
I hope someone can help.

Hi Simon,
Its got a total suspention lift of three inches plus a further three inch body lift, i know that 33"s will probably rub the arches but with a little trimming i was hoping to overcome this, plus, it just dont look right at the moment with the rubbers it has at the mo,  before the zuk i had a landrover with 35"s, simex copies, so i want to go big again, a, for the ground clearance and b, for the look !
Dont ask me what size is on there now, i havnt got a clue, its in the barn.  It did look fine before i started messing with it, but the tyres now look more suited to an off road go cart....   TOOOOO  SMALL  !!
Besides, i am waiting for someone a little more local than you Si, sorry.
Cheers anyway,
Chris.

hi chris as said m8 cant help with the tyres but i think your need more than a bfh to fir 33's with the current lift min lift for 33's is 7" total even then arch trimming and some foot well bashing will be needed
