Hants Meet
« on: January 14, 2008, 15:01:37 »
Right I've been badgered into submission, you can all stop now :)

tradionally the Meets have been Portmouth/Winchester way (Denmead is in the Middle), is this still Ok with everyone. We may try a new pub not far away.

Usually works as turn up for 8, have a few drinkies then up to the best Burger bar in the South on Portsdown hill.

We have gained a bucketload of new members since the last one so if its too far for anyone let me know and we might have to make it a bit more central. Let me know where you are and when you are normally free and we'll get something sorted as soon as.

One of our members is also now a Landlord too so we have been offered use of his place in Waterlooville.

I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

at the mo the lounge bar of the pub is being refurbed we had 45 of the wessex hill runners in the smaller side with no worris so we can fit a few in there the car park can hold a good few motors. hopefully the lounge will be finished by the 14 feb and the kitchen should be open by the middle march

No date or location, was hoping for a bit more intrest than this given the hassle people have been giving me  :( Might just go for the usual pub save making any serious arrangements.

Its probobly going to be the Hampshire Rose in Waterlooville. If its a go-er then we'll move it around month to monthm,, how does that sound.

We still want a thurs night or Friday/Weekend?

Friday is a weekday :)

Its possibly better for them that are travelling, no work in the morning etc.
