110 defender mods.?
« on: January 10, 2008, 17:42:57 »
Hello all in the defender section.
I'm still thinking/dreaming about buying a 200/300tdi 110,probably a van body as the station wagons sell for ridiculous prices down here in the southeast.Anyway, can you fit a couple of windows and seats in the rear and register it as an estate on the v5?as the insurance seems more flexible on what other vehicles you can drive with car rather than commercial ins.  And can you remove the bulkhead behind the seats for easier access to the rear and fit a bar thingy, that i think bearmach sell, without compromising the structural integrity?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Removing the bulkhead yes no problem..Mudstuff sell a replacement bar.

If IRC when I insured my 110 I told them that it was a van with 5 seats and there was no problem.
Hit it till it breaks then hit it some more !

"Jingle" 200Tdi 110 - Which way to the mud ??
