I'm sure i read some where that the TD5 was the last true land rover engine that Lr made and it was being tested just as the 300tdi came out.
Funny how when you read some totally useless information some where you remember it

There was an article in one of the mags (can't remember which) a few months back (can't remember when exactly, useful aren't I?) about the development of the TD5, and it was apparently LR designed.

Care to quantify that? And possibly due to the fact that diesels sell more easily, therefore there is more of a market. I believe the term is "supply and demand".

good spot that was a trick question. yes around 70 percent of sales are diesels.  :clap:
