the price of gordon browns fuel
Disco Matt:
Sad to say, the international system is very strongly rigged against setting up your own state. I remember seeing a TV programme where a comedian tried to set one up in his flat. He went through all the paperwork, did it all by the book, but the UN reaction was along the lines of "Eh? Erm, you can't do that"!
I vote we get Mud Club recognised as a religion, then claim that high fuel costs and closing greenlanes are an infringement to our freedom to worship...

What gets me is they are crying about oil being $100 a barrel, now correct me if im wrong but a barrel is 56 gallons...which is 254.8 litres, and the dollar is virtually $2 to £1 so for £50 you get 255 (rounded up) litres of oil which works out to 19p a litre - OK i know they have to 'refine it' but the other thing that pees me off is that Petrol has more treatment than diesel BUT diesel is more expensive :-k
Disco Matt:
A news report yesterday said that more diesel than petrol cars were sold last year. That wouldn't have anything to do with the price being hiked up, would it...
