Sureterm came up with best quotes for both our 110csw's

the 300TDi was about 215
the 2.5 petrol with mods was about 320

Funny though, the AA on their website quoted 280 for the 300tdi but when SWMBO phoned to take policy out they quoted over 500 as the number of seats, even though the website let you specify the 110 station wagon option on its list.

I am with Peter Best and havent noticed anything about greenlanes. I had best look into it. It does cover me for treasure hunts though and surely they would involve a green lane or 2?

Peter Best was over £600 yes £600 cheaper than anywhere else.

22 year old no claims (2nd car) for a petrol s3. Peter Best quoted me £320 fully comp

I have my ex military S3 insured with RoadSure as a classic vehicle. Cost was just under £100 and it gives me;
Fully comp.
Insured for 10 people
Public liability which is very useful for shows and events
Greenlaning

There are some drawbacks;
Limited to 6000 miles
I am the only driver. Whatever insurance anyone else has (e.g. driving other vehicles) the insurance on my vehicle is invalidated if anyone else drives it. I'm not bothered by that but it was in the small print and not mentioned when I took the insurance.

If you get a quote for a 10 seater make sure you mention that it has to cover 10 seats and that they write that in the policy. I had to send my policy document back because the first copy only covered 5 seats, even though I'd told them it was a 10 seater.
