Had a drive in a Jimny...

Yeah, that about sums it up for me too. But I was pleasantly surprised. I did like it. Andrea lugs horse stuff around and just occasionally need to get into a field. And there is just about enough space in the boot for her Jack Russell!

Just why I bought one - look at it now - unstoppable (well almost)
mlines:
There is no weight over the rear wheels so they have a reputation of being a bit loose at the rear end, still that adds to the fun - put a rear difflock and pull impressive do'nuts.

I owned a Jimny a couple of years back ,put 2in lift +Macho muds snorkel and so on, it was a great little motor -wish i had it now what with the cost of fuel etc, that little twin cam lump is great if you keep it buzzin and it does have some torque low down if the right gear is chosen, i had a heavy tool chest in the back with no seats so i could carry fence posts and dogs never had a problem with handling -that little truck was pure fun with a capital Zuk.
Thomas:
ive got a jimny and have just learned how to drive, i do somtimes wish i could insure a land rover. but i also like to be able to use it daily.
