4 door wheel arch trimming

(1/5) > >>

andygod:
I'm looking for advice from anybody who has experience of wheel arch trimming on a 4 door. I don't mean camel cut but full wheel arch trim including cutting the rear doors. I also would like your advice on wheel arch flares including the material / type and suppliers.

Many thanks

Andy, check out the roccia website... last time I looked they had an excellent guide for cutting 4 door to fit their arches.

in fact... !here... I'll do the dnkey work for you!!

Sheddy:
Doing the 4 door trim is a slow and painful job.  Do not buy fibreglass arches, they crack at the slightest impact.

I've got them on the Disco that I'm breaking, I may try to take them off .....

Dr Evil:
Got a tip about using trimed down defender rear flexi arches all round, using a 90/110 tub for reference.
Cut a template 25mm smaller than the tub arch and trim the Disco arch to suit. Pie cut the 25mm back into the wheel well and fit the defender flexi to the lip you have created.
Just bought a set of defender flexi's for fitting in the new year, so can tell you if it works.  :!:
