Is it that bad? It was edited for Top of the Pops and for the Ronan Keating version, I'm presuming that was because poor old Ronan didn't want his image tarnished, when he dueted with Marie Brennan from Clannad.
Mind you in my younger days, I worked backstage on a few Clannad gigs, and they are no saints, believe me!

At the risk of being pilloried, I have to say my least favourite Christmas song is 'Band Aid'. I bought it out of the thought of doing something to help in the 80's, but never played it.
