--- Quote from: "Lord Shagg-Pyle" ---At the risk of being pilloried, I have to say my least favourite Christmas song is 'Band Aid'. I bought it out of the thought of doing something to help in the 80's, but never played it.
--- End quote ---

Good cause, crap song.

Kaneda:
Pointless lyric at the start too ...

"..and there won't be snow in Africa this Christmas time"

As Christmas is in the middle of their summer and about 40+ degrees I'd hope there isn't!

Hightower:
Funny thing is that Radio 2 are still playing the full version

Lucy1978:
Errr Sudan and the majority of Ethiopia are North of the Equator, so it doesn't quite work like that.  Though anytime after the end of Feb in Sudan is pretty warm, we went through the middle of January and it was over 40C in teh cab.

So no there won't be snow but remember Africa is a big place.

The most Ironic thing is that for the most part The Sudan is a Muslim country so the question shouldn't be, "do they know it's Christmas time?" rather "do they care it's Christmas time?" err no.

Kaneda:
Yep, it is a big place.

The Sahara is quite large too :)
