What? Casting slurs upon my good character! :roll: Time is not important. It was something made up by the ruling classes to govern and control us!
My answer to anyone who asks what the time is, 'whatever you want it to be!'
Hence I never wear a watch, therefore I don't worry about being late, as I'm always there at the time that I said I would be.
If that makes sense.

.......because an MX5 goes a damn sight faster than an MG Midget (I used to have a Midget 1500 and clearly remember it running out of ooph at 60mph :lol: ).

Ooo... not mine.... 145bhp at the flywheel :twisted: The 1500 was a particularly poor car. The best of them were the 1275's.
But you get my meaning, I'm sure. The MX5 being the nearest modern equivalent. I also had a V8 Rover SD1 when I was 18 as a tow car for the Midget (race car). Again, a modern equivalent would be uninsurable by an 18 year old today.

When i past my test the petrol was priced in gallons not ltrs.
And £10.00 lasted forever.
Mind you my talbot avenger had green flanelet sets and i thouhgt that that was cool.
Why don't they make cars with black plastic roof covers any more the bird poo never maked them.
