Ah, but the beer just gets better

Nope! It doesn't last long enough! When I was younger, a pint seemed to last for ages. Now? Gone in a flash!

You might find the reduction in time it takes for a pint to dissappear is directly proportional to your shrinking clothes
Sorry guys, we seem to have highjacked this thread  I'll shut up now!

I know just what you mean.... Wagon Wheels were over 6" in diameter and all policemen were old  Oh yes, my hair had colour

I remember when beer was 60p a pint & 2* petrol was 60p a gallon. Used to fill my moped up (FS1E) for £1.20.... and it would last for 2 weeks !!!, but I only earnt £40 a week, so i suppose it's all relevant. Oh for hair and smaller clothes......................Sigh !!

You're telling me! I saw the latest crop of recruits come into training school the other day. They all looked like they should still be in nappies! They looked as if the wind would blow them over! :?

Not at the same time I doubt. Beer was about 22p a pint in our locals in 1975 and I was paying 70ppg for 2 star at that time.
I remember going up to Cleo's in Yarmouth one weekend and moaning like hell because we were paying 28p a pint for Whitbread Trophy.
Nostalgia's not what it used to be!
