Hi lift adaptors

Iain C:
Hi

If he can get it down the chimney Santa is bringing me a 4' HiLift or equivalent this crimbo.  I have integrated jacking points on my steering guard for the tube thing to fit into, but nothing at the back.

Does anyone make a bolt on item for the rear?  To me the obvious solution would be some kind of bracket that mounts between the tow hitch and the drop plate (yes I know it get's in the way off road a bit but it's kinda useful for towing...)

I cant really justify an HD rear bumper but some bolt on goodie would be ueful...I'm mainly thinking for changing a tyre or perhaps for jacking it out of deep ruts.

Thanks

redhand:
when I had my 110 I just took the tube adapter off and put the lifting foot under the rear crossmember. and for the disco I wrapped a short sling round the drop plate and attached a shackle to the other ends, which then fastened to the hilift.

If you wanted some thing permanent then a thick flat plate bolted between the chassis and the drop plate or even 2 ring bolts thru the top holes in the drop plate would do the job.
