my father owns a 95 1.3 escort and its had new battery and new starter and still just clicks any ideas plz as i,m now puzzled ???????

Try using a jump lead to connect the battery and the starter solenoid to check its not the cable.

Also check battery earth cable the same way.

now ok bumped it and drove it for about 2 miles now starts
i think thats why it happens to fords lol :lol:
