Thinking of an even bigger project. what do you think?
« on: December 02, 2007, 16:32:45 »
Right some of you may have read my Rangie story thread and i have just striped out the interior to see if anything else needs welding but also i want everything to be sealed after.

But i just thought as the rear corner needs a bit of patching up why not just chop the back end off while i dont need the car and while its already in the garage being worked on...

Are there any rough guides on how to etc with measurments etc...

Anything would be a great help.

Many thanks

Hmmm, bobtail :)

Not really my cup of tea, but a worthwhile mod all the same.

I I was carving up a Rangie I'd be looking at a pickup, possibly bobtailed too.

How can it be a bigger project if your going to chop bits off

I fact if anyone complains about how much time your spending in the garage, just say you scaling down the project to make it shorter.

this will give you a rough idea of where the cuts should be dont worry about the duck tape thats only holdiding it together to see if it is lined up ok after you line every thing up bolt together then just fiberglass matt the joints and thin skim with filler or get it welded up
