Might need a longer stem, but I'll just try flipping it over first.

It'll give me a longer reach (ie; shoulders to bar)
I rode that and my 'yellow bike' back-to-back, & the difference in the handlebar height is about 4"!!
Plus those 32c tyres don't half 'drag' on the road, almost as bad as the Specialised Houffalize on the Trek (although they're still a quantum improvement over the original 2.1 Bontragers that were on it)
I think if it's going to get any serious road-use over the summer, it'll need a pair of decent 25c (at the most) tyres

ill be in the shop soon greenie, as a haxsaw doesn't cut a steera tube properly :doh: lukily i didn't cut too much off :clap:

Road tyres Richard... Michelin Pro Race 2's are the ones we spec each and every time..
We offer a measure up service, if you want to be on your bike, in the most efficient way, come see us...we have people travel from all over Europe for it....it makes a difference...appointment needed though !!That's why most of our business is custom made frames ;)
@ Martha, a hacksaw is the right tool, just better through a guide !!!!
