L90OOK:
I got myself a second hand Univega Alpina SL3...it's been ridden once by the previous owner  ...all part of the New Year get fit again campaign
Looks like this...

Bush Tucker Man:
No, sadly I didn't get a Madone

I also looked at the 'Discovery' logo-d (aluminium) Treks, but no - t'was not to be.

I bought a Pinnacle 'Expede'

I actually hadn't intended buying a bike, just a new set of cone-spanners & bottom-bracket tools, but SWMBO started asking if they sold Cross-bikes.

I know the manager, as I used to race MTB/cross with him, quite a few years ago, so he started telling me (us) what stock they had.
So, one was found in my size & a test-ride (in jeans, boots & fleece  ) ensued

My eye was also taken by the Bianchi Axis, but they didn't have my size

GREENI:
L90ook...no pic !!! Well, didn't load up on my zx spectrum anyway !

Photo didn't load for me either

Steve, now the problem is that all of my other 700C wheels are all 8-speed (plus, a solitary 7-speed rear)
So, I'll have to perhaps get a spare-pair for cross next winter, and also relegate the Trek 6000 to back-up duties ;)
