Lord Shagg-Pyle:

--- Quote from: "Ralph" ---
--- Quote from: "Lord Shagg-Pyle" --- We are a mix of a great many creeds, races, religons and beliefs and have been since Roman times.
--- End quote ---

And throughout history we have fought against this mix.
Now people just accept it. But it is these same people who complain about Britain not being as British as it was, not being able to get jobs or hospital places, not being able to mention things truly British cos it may cause offence to somone who probably cant speak the English language and understand them anyway.
This country is becoming a disgrace.
Think back would your forefathers have put up with this, would they have fought and died in wars for this. I dont think so. They may well have accepted this mix of people to a certain extent but they would have never allowed them to take the Britishness out of GREAT BRITAIN.
I have my beliefs and i will stand by them, its sad to think that these British beliefs are offending British people.
I will say no more on the subject.
--- End quote ---

While I fully accept that you are entitled to your views ( as is right in a true democracy) I would ask a few questions.

1) Do you like curry? Country of origin, India and Pakistan.
2) Do you drink lager or ale? Both originate from Germany.
3) Are you a Monarchist? The Windsors had been called Hohenzollern-Saxe-Coburg, before the First World War.
4)British people fighting in World Wars to protect our British way of life.
Yes both my Grandfathers fought in the trenches, one of them leaving a large part of his body there. My father fought as an air gunner in the Second World War.
In Belguim and France there are graveyards full of British, Australian, New Zealand and Canadian troops who fought for the Old Country. There are also graves of Indian troops, Gurkha troops, West Indian troops, Chinese workers, to name but a few who died fighting for this country.
Polish and other Eastern European service men fought in all the battles of Second world war, to defeat a regime that preached that they were better than everybody else.
My son, who by birth and ancestry, is Italian, did 7 years in the British Army, on the frontline in places such as Iraq and Afghanistan.

This country is a mix and always has been. You can't change that, whatever crackpot ideas that Griffin and his bunch of tarted up Nazis say.
I will agree that Immigration needs to be better controlled than it is now, however, I would ask if a farmer can employ Eastern Europeans to gather in his crops because it is cheaper to do so, as they work harder and are prepared to work, is he at fault?
Perhaps if some of the home grown idle, lazy, scroungers got off their arses and did some of these jobs then the immigration wouldn't be so high.
There should be pride in one's Country, but not at the cost of certain sections being victimised.

Ralphy boy, if you want to back BNP then go for it.
Im disgusted that the general public should be scared to back this party, but hey, its better to be politically correct, and watch the country slowly go to the dogs aint it....!
Wo betide me from voicing an opinion.
Mud clubbers should note that everyone is entitled to an opinion, and that their own isnt neccesarily the correct one. Dammit if no-one had their own opinions we'd all be driving landrovers, the country would be a sea of EP90, and nothing would arrive on time....

Im ashamed of fellow mud-clubbers to not allow your opinions, and for the fool to ask  'do you enjoy a curry' ..........WHAT?
OK, I like spicy food , so lets extend the national health service to cover the middle east eh....?

Get a grip, see the country for what it is; a large business, needing workers and managers, and having no space for monetary losses!

I dont feel that any, or all of the political parties have the answer, but lets not discriminate on here eh!?!?!

And this is no exception by the looks of things.

Mud Club is not a political party or forum - this thread is out of place. I know the weather is bad today but I think it's time all of us got back under our vehicles or off road again.

Quite...

This thread has now been locked for the simple reason this is *not* the place to express political views or try to drive up membership for any politcal party.

This is not political correctness gone mad, nor is it an attack on anyone or any personal belief.  Everyone is entitled to believe what they wish, be that religion or politics however stressing these opinions on anyone else is not going to be tolerated, I'm sorry but whilst you're entitled to your beliefs others are entitled to theirs.

Sorry, but this is not the place,  discuss the matter between yourselves as much as you like, I have neither the power, nor the inclination to stop you.
