Double standards

Ralph:
I guess its ok on here to support beating someone around the head with a tyre iron as metioned in another thread but it seems it is not ok for someone to suggest voting for a perfectly legitimate political party.
What is going on here everyone complains but no one does anything about it.
The BRITISH people need to stand up and be counted not just sit back and moan.

datalas:
No, it's not OK to support or advocate beating someone up, and if you look at that other thread then I think you'll find that this was pointed out.

As for stating political opinions, I think that it's generally best to keep your opinions to yourself, you are entitled to have any opinion you want to have but I have yet to see *any* conversation about politics which hasn't descended into an argument.  I can take a vague guess at which party you are referring to, and having grown up in Burnley and met some of their more vocal members I personally don't credit them too highly.  Your experience may vary.

However,  I think you'll find that very few people openly advocate any political party,  indeed I think the only accepted norm at the moment is to complain about the current administration, although I suspect that this would be the case regardless of who was in power.

Edge:
Yeah, its not worth sharing your political views on here... I had a political web address in my signature (only for x3 days), a fellow mud-club member told everyone else he/she personally wouldn't give me any advice (i was asking for advice) as i had the bnp parties web in my sig
I removed it immediately.... not for this persons benefit, but because mud-club is an off-roading site and i now realise advertising political parties is the last thing thats needed on here.

We all in some way or another hate politics..... lets all stick together and not argue, just enjoy our hobby (Off-roading. )

BigSi:
Jeremy Clarkson for Prime Minister!!!!

lambert:
Show me someone who is not a self serving hypocrite at least to some extent and i'll show you a liar. Such is the human condition.
