Lavender House in Brundell

Fab treat for loved one, no kids .
Mod to expensive but pay one price for fabulous meal of at least 6 courses.
Food is to die for. Based on quality not quantity with organic meat from Barnards in Norfolk.
Richard is one of top teachers at NCC and also recommended a Food Hero on BBc series.
Love this place jsut have to sell a kidney to go .
Book ahead............ for Weekends book at least 2 months in advance

They also have a new place up near Sheringham which we will venture to at some point possibly with MCs.

Recruiting Sergent at Colltishall

Lots of fish and a really nice steak and kidney pudding. Staff are a bit bolshy but landlady is pleasant.
Huge portions and not bad prices, pleasant garden in summer, kids welcome. Can be a bit full of pension squad some days. Beer bit pricey but some nice local beers.

Oh also Spice Lounge indian on Norwich Tombland next to Cathedral.

DELICIOUS, fresh , not greasy and rather modern sophisticated restaurant . Weatherspoons over road is ok for quick drink but service lousy.

Fur & Feathers at Woodbastwick.

Its has the brewery right behind it with visitors centre, plus a UCR almost right opposite! Can't get better than that!!

Has several real ales behind the bar which are poured from the barrel. :D

Relaxed atmosphere with a nice beer garden for the summer.
Food is good and of good portions.

The Fur and Feather! Aah bliss! My old local when I lived in the village. Many a happy night was spent walking, sorry staggering home from there!
