Oh dear God no!
wellieboot:
OMG, thats horrific.
I may be speaking out of turn here (in which case please tell me) - I've been in your position on a couple of occasions and it is sickening. Personally, what worked for me was going home afterwards (I was totally numb) and (I'm not afriad to admit this) bawling my eyes out.
On both occasions no one died (thankfully) and you do just drop into an autopilot mode. But heavens, did it hit me when the adrenaline wore off. I think I ended up helping the services because keeping busy was more comfortable than going back into the house or getting back in the car. I had to be doing something. When the business stopped..... well, it wasn't a nice place. :(
Seriously chap - you have my sympathy. If there's anything people can help with, I'm sure you've only got to ask.

I grew up on a farm. I know things die, often when still young.
But this was pointless, all because some little wannabe bling gangsta chav could not think past making his dump valve go hiss.
All i'm hoping is that the flatish front air dam spread the blow over more of the kid and didn't do too much damage to any one bit.

--- Quote from: "Bigbluemaverick" ---Sat on a side road just emptied a bin, hear a woman shouting, look round and a little kid no more than 3 year old is running about on the path.
Heard a car, looked in mirror to see one of the local chav scooby nutter's come belting up the street. Seen this one befor and he is mental. Next split second the child has run out under the chav, i couldn't get out of my seat belt fast enough to do owt.
The ambulance has just gone and i've given a statement to the police, and now i feel sick. :(
--- End quote ---
IF your offered coucilling take it, PTSD is no joke, you might also consider a claim against the chav for emotional distress or some such....

My hat goes off to all the emergency services, that is a job I never would like to do and the people who do it deserve medals - all of them.
Hope the little kid is ok, can you get an update on how he is or is it a family only thing :?:
As for the chav  bring back the death penalty
