The old Hippo is once again at the dealers for some warranty repairs.

However looks like I will have to slum it for a while in the brand new RR Vogue V8 diesel they have given me as a courtesy car for the time mine will be away.
I told them not to worry how long they take to fix mine.

Hi Gav

Getting mine back today, suppose all good things come to an end.

Had to have a new fuel pump fitted, hopefully this will sort all the problems out for now.

Cheers

Evening Denviks

For the last few weeks noticed a tapping noise, similar to when tappets need ajusting. Then the other day going through gears, would only reach a certain speed ie, 1st gear 15mph going up to 70mph in 5th, then the engine alert light would come on.
Apparently there was low fuel pressure, so the diesel which is supposed to atomize was being injected in large globules.
Anyway new pump has done the trick.

Cheers
