Daz800:
just had the same thing with my 90.

Bearings were fine i just  regreased them after a good clean down.

easy job. if it was new bearing and seals i would say about 1 hour labour.

Same still applies to putting the foot brake on but it won't be your swivel bearing at fault - just loose wheel nuts

Ive nipped the wheel bearing up a tad, but have discovered where my knock is actually coming from

Its got Old Man Emu 672?? springs on it.

The knock is the NSR spring rattling in the top of the mount thats welded to teh chassis.

Its the only one that is doing it. I dont have a spring compressor to remove it to look properly.

Is there supposed to be some form of gasket between the spring and the mount? If you hit the spring with your hand, you get a loud rattling sound.

Any Ideas?

davidlandy:
jubilee clip the spring into the seat.
