I toyed with putting the soft dash into a hard dash RRC.  Think it might be easier to lift on a newer body

It is do-able, a friend has done it, but some of the wiring was a pain to sort.

I've been thinking about this awell, I like my old 200 but I'm after the 300 look.

I've started on the face lift and I'll be starting to get the rest of the parts soon. The dash is a major one I want along with side mouldings and wheel arches, I'll be watching with great interest  :P

Given the price of disco's at the moment wouldn't be cheaper to sell your 200 and buy a 300. Save you an awful lot of work

Very true redhand, but my mot is due in december  and it'll need a boot floor and inner wings by then, so I thought I'd weld everything in and I'd know my disco should be solid. The interior needs a good steam so the seats will be coming out and the carpets lifted, (I'm really scared what will be under there to be honest) So if I'm going to the hassle of trying to make my truck solid I may aswell customise it to how I want it. I'm sure that's badgersrover wants

Hello chap, sadly I don't know. However I did go THROUGH the floor with my knee

I'm scared to lift the carpet to be honest! I will be having a proper look around next week armed with a camera, I'll share the pics on here when I do.

I think I'll end up replacing at least 40% of the main metal in the car!
