Rear Door Spring

Hi Guys, my rear door wont open without me holding up the the top switch as I open the door from the inside, its great for security but means I cant fit my dog guard.

Can anyone tell me the best place to get the spring from? I guessing thats whats gone anyway.

i think there are some spring kits on ebay.i think that they do them for all 4 doors in one kit so i would be tempted to do all 4 in one go.i have never done it so im not speaking from experiance here but have heard its a real pig of a job mate so good luck

I have just bought a 5 door spring kit and I have looked at the instructions and all of a sudden the job has dropped right to the bottom of my to do list.

It looks one horrible fiddly grrrr job to do.

Passenger door and tailgate gone on mine.

Passenger door done and something else broke. Tailgate spring is now somewhere on my to-do list below 'Sell car'
