Pretty sure it's just the trim level (Leather etc), and standard equipment that separates the Vogue from the Vogue SE.....

SE stands for 'Special Equipment' ;)
1980 SIII Lightweight 2.25 Petrol - completely standard.
1991 Range Rover Vogue SE 3.9 V8 - now on LPG (sorted!), 2" lift, mud tyres, and more to come...

the EFi was the poverty spec, then came the Vogue and then the SE or Vogue SE.

By now so many have had different stickers on them it's hard to tell.

A Vogue SE could be oredered with any equipmenth the owner (or often the dealer) wished to add, so you see some strange combinations, with/without sunroof, leather and airconn mostly.  The top models have more insulation and are a tad heavier but the engines are on papaer all the same.

Buy on condition rather than equipment.
