Cobwebs conker'd

I tried it out as well in my SJ and now no cobwebs. I told other people about it and they laughed at me. what happens in the summer tho where can i get conkers all year round.

Noticed that the one room we dont have spiders in is our bedroom. Then on Sat morning noticed that Alison had a conker sat in her odds and ends bowl on the dresser. Anyone know WHY this works?

apparently its the odour given off (we cant smell it for some reason) when the conkers get older. the spiders dont like it so they go away....

On a slightly related topic I heard recently that using Vinegar on Conkers had been oulawed in serious competition.

Apparenlty the latest thing is urine :(

That would be enough to put me off my stroke "am I right in thinking you've p***ed on that"

Let's hope the same doesn't go for fish and chips :lol:
