Not sure what's up with the Disco (hopefully something cheap!). The auto box is playing silly beggars - kickdown doesn't always kickdown, and if it does it jumps backwards and forwards between gears. If you ease of the gas a touch, it settles down.
This does only seem to happen if you plant your right foot to the floor, if you accelerate gently (ok, I know most Td5's do that anyway :roll: ), the box changes up ok.
Initially, I suspected the auto box was on it's way to Ashcrofts, but thinking about it today, I wondered if there was something else causing the power to drop off when it was at maximum demand ?
The truck is standard (apart from the EGR stuff which fell off by accident), and I've not had a chance to run diags as SWMBO has the 110 with her, and the Nanocom is with it #-o
Any thoughts or ideas ?
