speedo showing speeds not possible in a Landy

Check that the cable route is as smooth as possible too. Have you replaced the cable outer?

I replaced the cable outer and inner and I have tried to make it so there are no sharp corners in the route i have done. I think the first cable i relaced broke due to it had a sharp corner behind the speedo its self where i puled to much through the bulk head.
