Disco TD5 Problem
Ricky:
your right you cant directly but if you check cylinder balance and 1+2 are giving suspect readings it can be a sign of a failing fuel pump in some instances as they are furthest away from the supply.
Anyway back to Fergy. i assume you havnt got easy access to any diagnostics else you would probably would not be posting. it realy could be any of the above + others. Any other symptoms that might narrow it down???

IMHO........get it on a diagnostic machine first..........might not tell you everthing because as posted some parts are not readable but its much cheaper if it does show up.....all your throttle positions etc can be seen and tested on the machines and even adjusted (if you know how).
Keep us posted please and if your over this way give me a shout.
