Steering Bush?

What’s the name of this bush on the steering? Need a new one as this one is split, but don’t know what to ask for!

That's not a bush it is the steering drop arm balljoint on the end of what is either called the drop arm or the Pitman arm.  It is possible to buy a kit to recondition the entire joint and that will include the rubber boot, which I guess is the bit that has split.  You can also buy a new drop arm with the ball joint in it.  Either way it is a [!Expletive Deleted!] of a job, OK some people say it's easy and when they did it everything came apart, but my experience says it is a [!Expletive Deleted!].

If the rubber is split the joint is probably knackered too.  I am fairly sure that a split in the rubber will lead to much attention from the MOT man too.

8 out of 10 times the drop arm wont come off. we had a 3 tone puller on and it wouldnt budge. so we just swoped the ball joint much esier :D
