Those tennis racket swatters work really well on wasps we had smoke coming off them this weekend.  Its not nice having wasp buzzing around when in a tent.

Agree with Jamin. Had to order fruit flies by mail for my Mantis. Fascinating watching them catch their prey and eating it. Grow quite quick and very friendly (for an insect)  :wink:

We had  a spate of midges in the house now and again, very annoying when they wander across your vision when reading on the monitor

Tried the fly killer and i think they thought it was a de-oderant for them, no effect at all

Got that fed up with it, stuck a bright lamp on for 10 mins and then hoovered them into the vacuum cleaner with the extension, while they hovered round the light :twisted:
