do i need to get a spacer if i fit a td5 prop to a 300 tdi, if so how big i see that wizard is selling them on the bay but he has 2 sizes which one is best?

i do know about the flange!

wizard:
You will need the transfer box output flange. depending on what the propshaft was off i might be 50mm short. You need one roughly 670mm from flange to flange

wizard

mobi:
that means i would need at least 3 of your 15mm spacers:shock:
time for plan b then, anyone know what plan b is as i don't  :?

barmiebrumie:
Have fitted a TD5 to my 200tdi with no prblems    apart from a bit of vibration but maybe due to +2 spring lift, 2 inch spring spacers (courtesy of wizard) & QT castor correction front radius arms,

On mine the t/box end is a double cardon TD5 but think the front end is a HD 300  :? , I am going to try pulling them apart & fitting back together 180 degree's if you know what I mean, also will be getting a spacer from Gerard (wizard) along with some rear double shock mounts  :)

i'm trying to get rid of the vibration! i got abit at 30 and dies out at 35 then it comes back at 50 but worse and goes at 60.

and it's not the UJs i've got a new propshaft on.
