Do I buy genuine or pattern belt and tensioner.

Yes it is the aux belt.
The reason for the tensioner change is two fold...
:arrow: The bearing is going and with the tensioner away form the belt, movement in the bearing is obvious.
:arrow: The rubber which connects the moving arm to the fixed pivot is collapsing. So much so that the front face of the tensioner (the plane of which should be parallel to the plane of the front of the belt) is tilting towards the engine.
The replacement is £27.50 from Mansfield 4x4 and my previous post show pattern part makers DAYCO to be the OEM manufacturer too.
